Peter Thorpe - Dip IMC RCS(ed);SrPara;McPara
Pete is a fully qualified and experienced paramedic and instructor. Having worked extensively in the pre-hospital care setting both in the uk and abroad he is now the proprietor of Trident Medical. His last post saw him working for a number of years with a large market leading training company. Wanting to develop more into the medical training arena, the move to set up Trident Medical was a natural one.
Pete still practices as a paramedic and is current studying for an MSc in Critical Care. He is one of only a few Paramedics to hold the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
Kris Schofield
Kris is a registered Paramedic and has a wealth of experience from within the Accident & Emergency setting of an NHS Trust. Kris specialises in remote medicine as well as areas of rescue such as confined space, breathing apparatus and technical rope rescue. Kris is also an experienced professional diver and compliments our rescue / medical support services. He is an accomplished instructor often lecturing in his specialist subject matter of life support, hypothermia, cold water immersion and drowning in addition to facilitating the delivery of various Trident training packages
Mark Bunker
Mark is an IHCD Ambulance Technician who started in 2005 with Beds and Herts Ambulance service, now part of East of England. For the past two years, as well as the frontline ambulance work i have also helped provide medical cover at various events around the country. In October 2010 i gained my FAW and AED Instructor's qualification and have gone on to setup and provide public BLS training courses in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation. Im also experienced in providing other professional medical courses within my Instructor and professional (IHCD Technician) teaching remit.

Mark Gorman
Mark served for 22 years in the Army with Airborne Forces and after specialising in primary care and trauma medicine, spent the last six years of his Army career as a qualified Operating Department Practitioner. Whilst in this role, Mark gained experience in places such as Kosovo, Sierra Leone and Iraq as well as military and NHS hospitals in the UK. Since leaving Armed Forces, Mark has taught on many and various First Aid courses both nationwide and abroad

Colin Hakin
Having worked in the ambulance service for a number of years, Colin has just finished studying the Certificate of Emergency Medical Care at University. He is now awaiting the final part of his course for full qualification/registration as a Paramedic. Prior to joining the NHS he was a Staff Protection Trainer for the Police Service. Colin has been involved in training staff within the corporate sector for many years. He now tutors all of our courses and is a valued member of the team.

Steve Parmenter - Dip IMC RCS(ed);SrPara;McPara
After seven years as a Military Medic with the Royal Marines, Steve gained UK Paramedic status in 2005. He has furthered his experience since then within the NHS and various UK Military organisations. Over the last 5 years, Steve has continued to seek new challenges and broaden his experience. In September 2008 he gained the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

Sarah Christopher - BSc(Hons);Dip PHC;SrPara
Sarah is a massively experienced, highly qualified paramedic and instructor. She is currently undertaking studies to gain a PHD at Swansea university, adding to her already gained 1st class honours degree. Although studying hard, Sarah is a current practicing paramedic and published author. She teaches for many pre-hospital care organisations, and we are proud to have her as part of our team. Sarah tutors the whole range of courses that we offer.
Stuart Robinson
Stuart started his career in the NHS Ambulance Services in 1994 and is a paramedic for 15 years. He has extensive experience in the pre-hospital environment and is qualified with the Royal College of Surgeons in Pre-Hospital Trauma. When he is not honing his paramedic skills he works with a UK Police Service, specialising in public order and rapid entry work. He has been instrumental in the delivery of medical training for UK Police Services, with a particular penchant for ballistics, AED and Defensive Tactics training. As a trainer he has been teaching first aid and medical courses for several years and has designed and delivered bespoke courses for both adult and paediatric healthcare sectors.
Trident Medical is proud of all of its instructors. All of the instructors we use are current practicing healthcare professionals, most of whom carry a minimum of Paramedic status. Each of the team has a wealth of knowledge in the pre-hospital care field, and tutor our full range of subjects from First Aid right up to the more advanced courses we offer.
