Annual Update Training
The HSE currently 'highly recommend' that all first aid trained staff should receive annual update training in addition to their three yearly requalification.
In line with that advice, and in order to allow for the minimal fuss to business, Trident Medical offer a half-day annual refresher course that is suitable for any staff who have previously completed the three-day First Aid at Work or the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work courses.
This is an ideal way of maintaining both knowledge and confidence gained previously. This will enable staff to act with confidence if an emergency were to occur in your workplace.
This half day refresher would be delivered by an operartional health care professional, so guaranteeing the most up to date information available.
The course syllabus includes:-
- Basic Life Support / Recovery Position
- Control of Bleeding
- Examination of a Casualty
- Unconsciousness
- Treating shock
Cost
The cost of this course for up to 14 candidates is £275 fully inclusive. This includes certification and a manual for each student.
If you have more than 14 students who need to attend, we can run larger courses using two instructors, or alternatively we can run two seperate courses on the same day. The cost for two courses run on the same day would be £325 fully inclusive.
