Emergency First Aid at work Course

Trident Medical are pleased to be able to offer the new one day HSE approved 'Emergency First Aid at Work' course.

The course can be tailored and adapted to suit a particular work group or environment. It is ideally suited to businesses that are deemed to be 'lower risk' in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. The course is run over one day and includes both theory and practical sessions, in a relaxed atmosphere, designed to boost a candidate's confidence.

The training is delivered by one of our professional team. All of our trainers are experienced healthcare professionals, most carrying a minimum of paramedic staus.

The syllabus includes:-

- Priorities of First Aid
- Recovery Position
- Basic Life Support
- Dealing with unconsciousness
- Causes of unconsciousness
- Control of Bleeding
- Burns
- First Aid Kits

There is no formal examination with this course. Rather students are continually assessed by their tutor throughout the course. Those students who complete the whole day and reach the required standard are certificated for a period of three years*.

Cost

The cost of this course for up to 12 candidates is £395 fully inclusive. This includes certification and a manual for each student. Additional students can be added for a per head cost.
