Police Support Medic
Trident Medical are pleased to be able to provide training for the specialist role of Police Support Medic. This Fi
ve day course is fully adaptable to include special roles and tactics. Currently we train Firearms and PSU support Medics for a number of Police forces across the country.
During the course, students will be taught the skills associated with rapid patient assessment, treatment of life threatening injuries and the transfer of both trauma and medical patients. It is aimed at those working in high risk and hostile Police environments. The course can be tailored to include the FPOS intermediate qualification which is fully approved by Edexcel and is IHCD managed.
The course is highly interactive, covers all necessary theory and involves a large amount of practical scenario based training.
This course builds the confidence of students allowing them to develop into a well rounded Police Support Medic.
The instructors for this course are all current Millitary Medics or State Registered Paramedics and all have recent operational experience. We feel this makes the difference from other courses available, as students can draw on the extensive personal experience of their instructors.
